As a Landscape Photographer living in North Wales with wonderful scenery on the doorstep inevitably much of my time is spent in the Snowdonia National Park and along the Isle of Anglesey coastline, also locations I use for landscape photography workshops. My approach to landscape photography is "getting it right in-camera" which relies on capturing the best possible natural light so I spend many early mornings and late evenings "chasing the light". Gear wise I use a Nikon D800 full frame body, a Nikon 16-35 F4, 24-120 F4 and 50mm F1.8G, a set of Lee NDgrads and the "Big Stopper".
BIG NEWS: I'm working on my first book "Photographing North Wales", a large format full-colour photo-location guidebook illustrating over 60 of the best locations for photography around North Wales. The book includes advice on the best times to visit, lens choice, access details, composition suggestions and a comprehensive section with tips on how to improve your landscape photography.
