Snowdon Pyg Track winter wander - new photos added to Snowdonia gallery

An early start this morning to catch the winter sunrise from The Pyg Track route to Snowdon summit. The light lasted just 20 minutes until a blizzard moved in and covered the sun forcing a retreat to the Pyg Track café for a bacon buttie and warm up.

With the promise of the cloud breaking I stayed around Snowdonia until the end of the day calling at the Ogwen valley to take a photo of Tryfan and the snow-capped Glyderau mountains, the sun never materialised but a very pleasant end to a winters day just the same.
