A day chasing the winter morning mists today and Bala Lake (Llyn Tegid) turned out to be the ideal spot with not only mist shrouding the surrounding mountains but some rare reflections on Wales's largest natural lake. I arrived mid-morning and spent a while admiring and photographing the atmospheric view. I decided to hang around until late afternoon and headed to a favourite spot of mine to grab some photos of the mountain views of Arenig Fawr, one of Snowdonia's less frequented mountains.
