The lonely tree of Llanberis is one of Snowdonia’s most popular photo locations with photographers. The best time to visit is late autumn and winter when sunrise is behind the Llanberis pass and you have the chance of some spectacular light behind the tree. The location of the tree is to the west of Llanberis besides Llyn Padarn, access the car park by turning off the main road onto Ystad Ddiwydiannol y Glyn, park in the gravel car park on the right and it’s just a short walk through the trees to the lakeside.
