The last photo from Tuesday mornings sunrise trip to Llandudno in North Wales. When I arrived just before sunrise, at around 05.15am the rocks in this shot were completely under water with the tide at it's highest so I didn't get chance to try this composition when the sunrise light was at its nicest. Having shot the sunrise I went for a wander onto the Great Orme and then arrived back here a about 3hrs or so later by which time the clouds had rolled in and the skies darkened, so much so that there wasn't really any colour to photograph. There was however some good contrast so I decided that a black & white shot was worth a try. I set the camera up making use of the rocks for foreground interest and then dropped on a 10stop ND filter to smooth out the waves, I then converted the colour photo into black & white using photoshop. Do feel free to let me know what you think of the results.
