Fairy Glen in autumnThe wonderful Fairy Glen (Ffos Anoddun) in autumn colours. A wonderfully scenic gorge on the River Conwy on the outskirts of the most popular village in Eryri (Snowdonia), Betws-y-coed.
Tryfan sunrise and winter snowTryfan is one of Snowdonia's (Eryri) most iconic mountains and certainly one of the most photogenic. Winter in North Wales often sees it capped with snow and this photo was taken during the first snowfall of the winter, timed to catch the warm light of sunrise above Tryfan.
Sunrise at the Lonely Tree in LlanberisAnother photo of the famous lonely tree of Llanberis situated on Llyn Padarn. The rising sun photographed above the Llanberis Pass.
Sunrise breaking at Snowdon / Yr WyddfaEryri Snowdonia is a stunning National Park in North Wales and home to this amazing mountain, Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the highest peak in Wales. This photo was captured following a pre-dawn hike to the summit which turned out to be a pretty spectular morning in the Snowdonia National Park with Mother Nature putting on an amazing temperature inversion below Snowdon summit.
Snowdon summit above the cloudsAn incredible view of a temperature inversion from the summit of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) in Eryri Snowdonia. You often see queues on the summit of Wales’s highest mountain but my luck was in this morning having these views all to myself for a good 20 minutes, plenty of time to capture a few photos.
Llanberis Lonely TreeA sunrise photo of the Lonely Tree in Llanberis on Llyn Padarn. I arrived in Eryri Snowdonia National Park under a blanket of cloud so expectations for a good sunrise photo of the famous tree were low but a small break in the cloud cover just gave me the chance to catch this photo as the sun burst over the peak of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa)
Tryfan from Bwlch TryfanTryfan photograph from Bwlch Tryfan. An iconic mountain with climbers and walkers alike Tryfan is one of the most challenging mountains in the Snowdonia National Park.
