The lakes themselves produce wonderful opportunities to capture a Lake District mountain reflection in the glacial waters whilst a climb onto the summits gives breathtaking views of the Lake District in every direction. Highlights include the amazing Slaters Bridge, a misty morning at Grasmere or a wander through the carpet of bluebells at Rannerdale Knots near Buttermere and Crummock Water.
