North Wales is an amazing location for photography with the stunning mountains of Eryri Snowdonia, including Wales's highest mountain Yr Wyddfa Snowdon, miles of golden beaches from Talacre in the North to Abersoch on the Llyn Peninsula and dramatic lighthouses such as Twr Mawr on Llanddwyn island, Anglesey. In the North East photo opportunities include the beautiful Dee Valley around Llangollen and the heather clad hillforts of the Clwydian Hills AONB. North Wales is also famous for its heritage with the chance to photograph ancient castles, steam railways and abandoned slate quarries in Eryri Snowdonia.
