New photographs in the Snowdonia photos gallery

Having recently swapped website providers I’m still working on my landscape photography website updates and I’ve just added another few photographs to the Snowdonia photos gallery so please do call back to have a browse now and again as I update the new photos

New Snowdonia images

Aberglaslyn Pass

The Aberglaslyn Pass is just a short walk along the Afon Glaslyn from Beddgelert and one of the best places to visit in Snowdonia (Eryri) in autumn when the surrounding natural woodland bursts into an amazing display of beautiful colours. This path is also one of the best low level walks in the Eryri national Park when combined with a walk up Cwm Bychan from nearby Nantmor car park and dropping down to the lake at Llyn Dinas, which as luck would have it is also another amazing place for autumn colours.

Cwm Idwal

Cwm Idwal is my favourite place in Eryri (Snowdonia) for photography, the reason I host my photography workshops here. If you’re lucky to visit on a calm day you can photograph some amazing reflections on Llyn Idwal and even when the reflections aren’t happening the surrounding mountain scenery of the Glyderau and Carneddau peaks are stunning so there are plenty of good photo opportunites.

Watkin Path waterfalls

The Watkin Path Snowdon route is one of the main routes to the summit of Wales’s highest mountain Yr Wyddfa and the lower section of the path is shadowed by the Afon Cwm Llan and the Watkin Path waterfalls, a series of wonderful cascades tumbling down the hillside into Nant Gwynant.
