Stunning Mount Fuji, Japan

Just back from an amazing holiday in Japan, what a fascinating place...and a little bonkers! We were on a guided tour so photography time and chances to catch good light were very limited so it was a case of making the best of the time we had in places.

Top of my list of things to see was Mount Fuji but the odds were actually quite low, it's only visible for around 20-30% of the time due to cloud cover (anyone who visits Eryri/Snowdonia knows all about cloud covered mountains!). Fortunately when we arrived at Lake Kawaguchiko, one of the best places to see it, the views were pretty decent with just a little low cloud passing by the lower slopes. We had a couple of hours here, for food and photos, so it was a bit of a rush trying to capture something decent but here's my best attempt.
