Iconic Tryfan - a moody black and white image
As the evening unfolded, the anticipated sunset failed to materialise, leaving the sky cloaked in a muted palette of greys. Yet, the unmistakable silhouette of Tryfan emerged against this subdued backdrop, its rugged peaks and sharp ridges translating beautifully into a striking black and white composition. The absence of colour intensified the mood, casting an air of stillness and solitude over the landscape, while the gentle ripples in the nearby water mirrored the mountain’s formidable presence. In this moment, the essence of Snowdonia revealed itself not in brilliant hues, but through the stark contrast of light and shadow, epitomising the enigmatic charm of the Welsh wilderness.
