A dramatic sunset on Llanddwyn Island Anglesey

Beautiful sunset light on Llanddwyn Island Anglesey

The stunning Llanddwyn Island on Anglesey on a stormy evening at sunset in North Wales

Today's 121 workshop on Llanddwyn Island proved to be a thrilling experience, culminating in a dramatic sunset at Twr Mawr lighthouse. The blustery conditions, often seen as challenging, revealed their true beauty as the sky transformed into a canvas of dynamic hues. Waves crashed against the rugged coastline, while the lighthouse stood resolutely against the elements, illuminated by the warm glow of the setting sun.

Participants captured breathtaking images as the light changed rapidly, casting long shadows and highlighting the intricate textures of the landscape. The changeable weather, usually a point of concern for photographers, turned out to be an asset, providing a stunning backdrop that showcased the raw beauty of the island.

As we wrapped up the day, it was clear that these unpredictable conditions offer some of the most rewarding photography opportunities. The combination of light, wind, and waves allowed everyone to hone their skills while creating unforgettable memories and striking images.
