Photography Workshops Terms & Conditions (121 & Group workshops)

Please be aware that by making a workshop booking you are agreeing to comply with these terms and conditions. 

  • Workshop participants must be at least 18 years old to participate in a Group photography workshop, participants under the age of 18 may attend a 121 workshop but must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18 (no charge is made for non-photographers accompanying participants).

  • To secure a workshop place full payment is required at the time of booking.

  • Workshop participants attending 121 photography workshops must provide their own transport for travel to the meeting location and between locations during the workshop. Participant transport on group workshops is required to the meeting location, no transport is necessary during the actual group workshop itself.

  • Workshop locations, dates, and itineraries may be subject to change based on weather conditions and other factors. It may also be necessary to cancel a workshop if circumstances arise that are beyond the organisers control, without any liability

  • Once payment is received you will be contacted to confirm your place on the workshop, payment alone is not confirmation of your booking. If your booking cannot be confirmed you'll be provided with a full refund. Your place will only be secured once full payment has been received.

  • Bookings are non-transferrable between participants.

Cancellation & Refunds

  • If a workshop participant needs to cancel notice must be made by email prior to the commencement of the workshop (A reply from the organiser confirming receipt confirms acceptance of the cancellation notice).

Refund payments relating to participant cancellations are as follows:

  1. More than 28 days prior to workshop commencement - Full refund

  2. Within 28 - 15 days prior to workshop commencement - 85% refund

  3. Within 14 - 0 days prior to workshop commencement - 0% refund

The organiser reserves the right to cancel any workshop. In the event of a workshop cancellation by the organiser, all participants will be given as much notice as possible.

  • In the unlikely event that the organiser needs to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances (such as illness, injury or severe/unsafe weather conditions) partipants will have the choice of:
    1. Re-arranging/attending an alternative date
    2. A full refund of all monies paid 
  • Any refunds paid can only be made to the original payee.
     
  • In the event of a necessary cancellation the organiser accepts no responsibility for any additional expenses you may have incurred, such as travel or accommodation. It is recommended that all participants have a suitable travel insurance policy.

Liability

  • The organiser is not responsible nor liable for any personal injury, loss, damage, or theft of participant's equipment or belongings during the workshop or liable for any personal injury, loss or death caused to you during the workshop. All workshop attendees participate at their own risk and are responsible for ensuring their own suitability/fitness relating to participating in the workshop.
