Misty morning on Loch Assynt at Ardvreck Castle
Ardvreck Castle is a 15th century ruin on the lake shore of Loch Assynt not far from Lochinver in the far north west of Scotland. A misty morning always presents photo opportunities and this particular day the castle seemed the perfect place to visit. The morning was a calm one so I had the chance of capturing the reflected ruins in the shallow water on the loch and the mist added some nice atmosphere to the distant mountain backdrop.
