Following my sunrise climb onto Stac Pollaidh mountain I was stunned by the amazing views on all sides including the incredible sight of Cul Mor looking to the North. The grandeur of Cul Mor is striking as the mountain’s jagged silhouette stands prominent against the expansive sky, its steep slopes descending dramatically into the deep glens below. The light was beautiful too, dancing across the face of Cul Mor accentuating the craggy rock face and textures of the steep slopes. The vantage point from Stac Pollaidh is just the perfect place to get the sense of the wild, vast landscapes that Assynt is famed for.
