The thing that I really enjoy about landscape photography in the UK's changeable weather is that you're forever presented with photo opportunities that, more than likely, in perfect conditions you'd probably never even take, infact more than likely you wouldn't even see them.

This little tree on the shores of Loch Maree in Torridon, North West Scotland, is one of those subjects that just drew me in as the rain poured and the mist rolled down the loch. Drenched in water the colours really "popped" and it looked amazing against the gloom of the weather.
