Stunning sunrise light at Quinag in Assynt

Option:

This image of Quinag in Assynt was captured after my sunrise shoot at nearby Kylesku bridge. The locations are just a few minutes drive away so after capturing the stunning light at Kylesku I quickly made my way here to the ancient little bridge. By the time I’d arrived the cloud had almost shrouded the sun so I managed a couple of initial shots and the light vanished into the gloom. I decided to hang around a little though as I really like this wider composition, just in the off chance that some sun made a re-apperance and as luck would have it there were a few fleeting moments when sunlight lit the bridge and foreground, the mountains stayed in shadow but looked rather amazing in contrast.
