The Cwm Idwal circular walk, starting from Ogwen Visitors centre, is one of the best short walks in Eryri Snowdonia with some beautiful views in the midst of 3000ft mountain peaks. It’s also a great place for photography, infact I host my one day Snowdonia photography workshops here for that reason. As well as stunning views of the Glyderau and Carneddau mountains there are several wonderfil waterfalls along the walking route including this one right at the start on the Afon Idwal.
