Dinorwic Quarry Hidden Waterfall above Llanberis

from £16.50
Option:

A photo of Dinorwic Quarry Hidden Waterfall on the higher levels of Dinorwig Slate Quarry high above the town of Llanberis in Snowdonia (Eryri) National Park. The waterfall is created as water runs off the upper levels of the slate quarry flowing through an abandoned mining tunnel and tumbling into the disused level of “California” below. In contrast to the austere colours of the slate, beautiful, intricate ferns cling to the quarry walls adding some wonderful colour into an otherwise wall of grey.
