Sunrise breaking at Snowdon / Yr WyddfaEryri Snowdonia is a stunning National Park in North Wales and home to this amazing mountain, Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the highest peak in Wales. This photo was captured following a pre-dawn hike to the summit which turned out to be a pretty spectular morning in the Snowdonia National Park with Mother Nature putting on an amazing temperature inversion below Snowdon summit. Snowdon summit above the cloudsAn incredible view of a temperature inversion from the summit of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) in Eryri Snowdonia. You often see queues on the summit of Wales’s highest mountain but my luck was in this morning having these views all to myself for a good 20 minutes, plenty of time to capture a few photos. Sunrise on Snowdon & Crib GochAn autumn sunrise photo looking across Llyn Llydaw to Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) and Crib Goch. The warm tones of sunrise adding some beautiful light onto the Snowdonia (Eryri) mountain peaks Snowdonia sunriseSunrise over Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) from the calm water of Llynnau Mymbyr near Capel Curig. One of the best early morning photography days I've had in Snowdonia (Eryri) Snowdon reflectionsReflections of Snowdon photograph captured on a stunning winter morning in the Snowdonia National Park. Snowdon sunrise from the Pyg TrackSunrise from the Pyg Track route to Snowdon Yr Wyddfa looking towards crib goch, Moel Siabod and the lakes of Glaslyn and Llyn Llydaw. I love winter photography in Snowdonia Eryri with the crowds of summer gone it feels a more special place with a chance for some tranquility to take in the stunning scenery.
