New photos of Snowdonia National Park added
An update to the Snowdonia photos gallery:
With the pretty awful weather we’re having here in North Wales during February I’ve taken the time to go through my back catalogue of Snowdonia photos and realised that I’d missed uploading some onto my website. Having just checked the edits I’ve now uploaded new photos of Yr Wyddfa Snowdon sunrise relections, some beautiful reflections of Llyn Gwynant, Llyn Crafnant & Llyn Lydaw.
Please do have a browse of my Snowdonia gallery, I’m always updating and adding new images as I get out and about with the camera. New North Wales photography dates have been added for 2026 too if you’d like to join me photographing the stunning scenery we have in these parts

About Eryri (Snowdonia)
Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park is a land of towering mountains, serrated ridges, and shifting skies that captivate photographers, hikers, and wildlife enthusiasts throughout the year. The landscape is a rich tapestry shaped by ancient forces and human history alike. Weather moves swiftly across the peaks, casting dramatic shadows and bursts of light that transform the scenery from one moment to the next. Each season brings its own character — from winter frost glazing the summits to summer heather painting the hillsides in soft purples.
The park’s terrain tells a powerful geological story. Glacial valleys carve deep through the heart of the mountains, cradling clear lakes that mirror the surrounding heights. Old slate quarries stand as reminders of the region’s industrial heritage, their weathered stone blending into the rugged environment. Peat moorlands stretch across open expanses, offering a sense of solitude and wild beauty that feels untouched and timeless.
Beyond its physical grandeur, Eryri is alive with culture and tradition. The Welsh language thrives here, woven into everyday life and echoing through village streets and rural farms. Historic mountain passes, ancient stone walls, and remote sheepfolds speak of generations who have lived and worked in harmony with this demanding yet inspiring landscape. Wildlife also flourishes in this varied habitat, from soaring birds of prey to hardy mountain flora clinging to rocky slopes.
Together, natural drama and cultural depth give Eryri a powerful identity. It is not only a destination for adventure and exploration, but a living landscape where history, language, and nature combine to create a place of enduring beauty and profound atmosphere.
